Our forest-&-fjord terrains of Afognak Island are composed of strikingly attractive moss-floored lowlands and areas up to 1,000 feet elevation, with many open meadows and gravel beaches. Our “enchanted forest by the sea”, together with our protected harbor, provides considerable shelter from foul weather. Temperatures range between 30° and 50°, both Spring and Fall.

Josh Randall was raised and schooled in this wilderness and is an Alaskan Registered Guide.

Shannon Randall has been living/hunting in and around North Afognak Island since 1968 and has been an integral part of creating and operating the lodge with her family.
